Curatorial Debut: Spring Tide – A New Wave of Art in Tooting

I am excited to share  the success of my curatorial debut exhibition, Spring Tide: A New Wave of Art in Tooting. This open call group exhibition showcased the largest collection of artworks ever displayed at the Magan Gallery, featuring an incredible 70 artists.

The exhibition opened on 23 May and ran until 7 June 2025. It included a diverse range of artworks, such as paintings, photography, sculpture, ceramics, and jewellery, all highlighting the remarkable talent of contemporary artists.

As part of Wandsworth’s year as the London Borough of Culture 2025, this exhibition was not only a celebration of creativity but also a significant contribution to the cultural landscape of our community. The response from visitors was overwhelmingly positive, with attendees praising the innovative works and the vibrant atmosphere of the gallery.

I am grateful for the support from everyone who attended and contributed to making Spring Tide a memorable experience. Thank you for celebrating this new wave of art with us!
