Terms and Conditions of Exhibition Entry and Sale of Your Work

The Spring Tide exhibition will take place at Magan Gallery (16 Trinity Road, London SW17 7RE) between 23 May 2025 and 7 June 2025.
Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully before completing your Application Form, as these will form the contract between you and Magan Gallery. By returning your Application Form, you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.
Eligibility
- You may submit work(s) to the exhibition if you are the artist or creator of the work and are aged over 18.
- A maximum of three works may be submitted per artist.
- All works should adhere to the theme of spring.
- Acceptable media: painting, photography, small sculptures, ceramics, jewellery.
- Works should meet the specified size requirements as outlined above.
Submission Form and Fee
There is a non-refundable submission fee of £15 per work for standard entries, £25 for two works, £35 for 3 works,.
Your submission is only considered complete once the correct payment for your entry has been received.
Your Application Form must be completed and submitted strictly according to the provided instructions. Failure to do so may result in your work being withdrawn from the selection process.
Selection
Selectors’ decisions are final, and we are unable to offer feedback.
If selected works arrive damaged, with unacceptable framing, or do not match the submitted images, they will be rejected. All rejected artworks must be collected by the artist at their expense.
Magan Gallery reserves the right to withdraw a work from the exhibition if, for any reason, the work or its display circumstances appear to expose Magan Gallery to potential reputational damage or legal issues.
Both successful and unsuccessful candidates will be notified via email.
Presentation of Work(s)
All two-dimensional works must be framed or suitably prepared for display. Perspex clip frames are not acceptable.
Artists must provide display fixings on the back of their work (wire or cord for hanging).
Magan Gallery reserves the right to reject works that cannot withstand professional hanging.
Delivery and Collection of Works
Artists are responsible for all delivery and collection costs.
All works must be unpacked before being handed over to the Magan Gallery team, and all packaging must be removed at the time of delivery.
If you are unable to deliver or collect your work in person, we can accept works delivered by commercial couriers (e.g., Royal Mail, Evri, DHL, UPS) during gallery opening hours.
Magan Gallery will provide selected artists with specific delivery and collection dates. Works delivered outside these times will not be accepted.
Any work not collected by the final collection date will incur a fee of £5 per day per work. If not collected within three months, the work will be deemed abandoned, and Magan Gallery may sell or dispose of it without notice.
No work displayed at the exhibition may be removed before the exhibition closes.
Sales
All work submitted must be for sale.
All prices stated on the Application Form must include Magan Gallery’s commission of 35%.
Once a work has been submitted, any sale made by the gallery before or during the exhibition takes precedence over private sales.
Any private sale will incur the normal commission.
The price provided is the selling price and must remain unchanged unless agreed in writing with the gallery.
Liability and Indemnity
Magan Gallery is not responsible for any loss or damage to works entrusted to them. All works are at the artist’s risk, and the gallery excludes all liability to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You must ensure that each submitted work conforms to all applicable health and safety standards and regulations.
By submitting your work, you confirm that each piece can withstand the normal rigours of handling and display.
